This Privacy Policy explains how Oceanbreeze Concepts Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use HostLocal ("Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
Account data: When you create a workspace we collect your name, email address, username, and password.
Workspace data: WhatsApp conversations, contact records, notes, tags, lead status, and files you store within your workspace.
Usage data: Log data such as IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and session timestamps — used for security and service improvement.
WhatsApp data: Messages and media received through the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API on behalf of your workspace.
We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users and maintain workspace security, send transactional emails (e.g. agent invitations, password resets), respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Meta / WhatsApp: Message delivery is handled via the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Meta's own privacy policies apply to data processed through their platform.
Infrastructure providers: We use cloud hosting and database services to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
We retain your data for as long as your workspace is active. When a workspace is deleted, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days. Certain records may be retained longer where required by law.
You may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email contact@hostlocal.co.bw. For deletion requests, see our Data Deletion page. We will respond within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We use session cookies strictly necessary for authentication and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided us data and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
